WHAT IS THAN EU ?

What is Eu alike? It’s a strange creature, just as it has been verified during the last - almost failed - summit in Brussels. It is an organization too big to be really efficient, too split inside to achieve real credit within the international scene. Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ambitions have crushed against the polish "niet" and the british skilful "posponement technique". Fortunately, the project aiming to create a so called "Foreign Minister of Eu" has failed: such a figure should have interpreted too many roles in the same comedy, like a clown. And it has failed, luckily again, the idea of imposing a long, incomprehensible Constitution to everyone: such a document could not have touched the hearts of the Eu citizens, or of those wishful to join. It has been cancelled, unfortunately in this case, due to french opposition, the important reference to the long-awaited principle of market competition.
We still have, than, a Europe unable to fulfil its real, double role: to guarantee security, personal and economic liberties inside its borders; to offer a democratic model of development outside. So, eventually, fail many ambitious politicians, including euro-optimists such as Prodi, favourable to acquire new members for Eu at any price, without considering the consequences.
We all pay, now, after the mistakes of the past. But still we have a great goal to achieve: we can free Europe from ideologic centralism and equalitarism; destroy every protectionism and burocratic welfare; implement competition and acknowledgement of merits. And, first of all, we can free Eu from the suffocating shadow of politically correctness: a real battle for Liberty. Let’s start again from this point.

INDIPENDENCE FOR KOSOVO

After so many wars and blood, now it’s time for indipendece of kosovars. First of all, because self-determination of every people is a sacred principle, and must be applied to Kosovo as well. Secondly, because the not less sacred right of the serbian minority to be protected can be guaranteed through a justice and police mission of Eu, which can take the place of Uno. Still, because the future membership of Serbia within the Eu - and in a further time of Kosovo itself - must be exploited: the condition for joining must the renounce of both Belgrade and Tirana from whatsoever interference within kosovar affairs. Last but not least, it will be useful to show to everyone, and in particolar to countries with a muslim majority, european or not european, that religion is not important in comparison of democracy. Ue is not a "christian club", as denounced by islamists. Serbian war criminals, for sure, must be taken to the International Tribunal of the Hague, but only after that all the mentioned goals will be achieved.

WHO IS AFRAID OF THE ITALIAN REFERENDUM?

The silence of Italian staff parties and supporting mass-media - to boycott the collection of signatures aiming to celebrate a referendum which could change and simplify the political scene - has partially achieved its goal. Many italians don’t even know anything about this abrogative referendum, which could diminish the unbelievable number of parties financed by public funds, and make the italian democracy closer to the anglo-saxon. But it is clear that all the political burocracies - national and local - are afraid of losing their privilegies.
Our Freedom Committees do support the referendum, in the hope of creating in Italy a real "two-parties system". If the collection of signatures should fail, all the italians citizens indipendent from political hangers-on would be damaged, and at the same time disappointed by democracy in itself.
This is the reason for which our Committees summon a meeting in Milan, the 25th of September, to support the referendum.
